In my work with Crazy Good Marketing, I was added to the team for the Big Idea Project’s logo contest. However, instead of working as a designer, I was assigned to writing the copy. Our goal was to capture the great work that the Big Idea Project does for fostering youth leadership in Colorado while inspiring potential designers to participate in the logo design contest, and it was up to me to get everything on paper. Even more, I needed to condense the message for advertising purposes, making it quick and easy to understand while still delivering the same punch.
Overall, this was a really fun project for me because I don’t often get opportunities to use my writing skills since I normally push my design skills. Writing was my first talent, long before Photoshop and InDesign came into my life, so this was a nice change of pace. Plus, as I learned more about the Big Idea Project, I found the organization to be quite inspiring! I hope my little bit of work here can help this organization continue making a difference in the lives of young people.
